She Fixed More Than the Pipes

He walked in one breath too soon.

Miami, 1980. Anora has spent three years as the wife of mob boss Leon, locked in a cold, loveless marriage where even the house itself feels broken. When a sharp, secretive tomboy plumber named Alex shows up to fix the leaks, Anora's carefully built walls start to crack. What begins as a house call turns into a dangerous attraction neither of them planned. In a world where loyalty is everything and Leon's reach is absolute, Anora must decide whether duty is worth a life without feeling, and Alex must decide how far she is willing to go for someone who was never supposed to be hers.
