From Useless Husband to the Queen's Butler

Thrown out by his wife. Claimed by a queen.

Daniel Brooks gave his wife Claire everything: his house, his savings, his company shares. In return he was mocked as a useless husband, made to serve her parents hand and foot, and finally caught her with another man in his own home. The night he walks out, he is pulled into Illyria, a kingdom ruled by women where no man has set foot in a century. Sentenced to death on sight, he is spared by its cold and powerful Queen, who claims him for her household. Now the man nobody valued must survive palace intrigue, jealous rivals and a fake engagement that looks more real every day, as the Queen's butler.
